Babe Ruth

We have entered a new phase in our lives. It is called Babe Ruth. Boe has had so much fun playing baseball this year. He is playing coach pitch this year. He gets to play first base because he's about the only kid on his team that can catch. He absolutely loves it!

He got to play catcher the other day. He thought that was a lot of fun, too!

Arizona

We had so much fun in Arizona this year. Dan wasn't able to come because of baseball. So, the kids and I were able to fly down. It was so much fun. The kids had never flown before so it was a great adventure for them!

Sarah let us borrow her kids Leapsters. They were a life-saver. Here are the kids in the Idaho Falls airport waiting for their turn to get on the plane.

We made it to Arizona and were able to celebrate my Mom's birthday. The next day the lizards were everywhere. The kids had a lot of fun trying to catch them.

Boe finally caught this lizard, twice. He was holding it the first time by the tail and the tail fell off! But, then he caught it again, even though it was missing it's tail!

After we left Wikieup, we went to Camp Verde. The kids had a lot of fun playing on the playground there. We also got to play miniature golf and they had a clubhouse with pool and kids toys and games.

They also had a swimming pool that we took advantage of. My mom and dad thought we were crazy to be going swimming in the cold. But, since it was snowing when we left Rexburg, seventy degrees felt hot to us!

While we were at Camp Verde, we went to a place called Out of Africa. It was so much fun. We got to go on a safari ride through alot of the animals.

As we were getting on the bus for the safari ride, they gave us each a carrot so we could feed the giraffes. It was amazing to be so close to the animals. The kids though the giraffes breath was very stinky. Now, when someone has bad breath, they say, "You have giraffe breath!!"

The kids really enjoyed looking at all the animals. Most of them were really close so we could see them really good.

They also had a program called Tiger Splash. The people would run around with different toys and try to get the tigers to follow them into the pool. It was amazing to watch them interact with people and to jump into the water.

In the Las Vegas Airport, on the way home, there were really cool sculptures of snakes and lizards and scorpions. The kids thought they were really neat.

When the kids and I got home from Arizona, my Uncle Ron, Aunt Kathy and Destiny were at our house. Uncle Ron was nice and gave all the kids rides on his motorcycle. We had fun visiting with them and with my cousin Cameron and his fiancee Nicole. We all had a great time.

I Love Kamber!!!

I just love having a girly-girl. Kamber is so much fun and is so sweet. We were at church on Sunday and there was an older lady sitting a couple of rows behind us. Kamber told me that she didn't have any family to sit with and asked if she could go and sit with her. So, she went back and sat by her and held her hand throughout sacrament meeting! She is always doing things like that. She comes home from pre-school telling me that there was a boy at school that was sad because he wanted to play with the toy bowling set and he didn't have a ball. Kamber said that she gave him hers so he would be happy! What a sweetheart! I am so lucky that she is my little girl!

Kamber LOVES to put on her play makeup. One day when Boe was at school, we put make-up on. We had so much fun together!

It is fun to attempt sewing when you daughter loves everything that you make for her. I made this swimming suit the other day and she wanted to wear it all day and kept giving me hugs and thanking me so much for making her a new swimming suit!

I feel so blessed that Kamber is my daughter and I love her very much!!

Sledding Fun!

My brother Shay brought his new four-wheeler over to our house on Saturday so he could pull the kids around on a tube. Everyone had so much fun, and we can't wait for him to come again!

Marissa and Emily both came with him. Here is Maris looking so cute in her hat!

Boe had a great time riding on the tube. He did a really good job holding on. Uncle Shay did dump him a couple of times, but of course, he loved it!

I got the best wipe-out pictures! The blue coat and poof of snow is Kamber! Shay went around the corner and she went flying! She had the hardest time staying on the tube because she dosen't weigh very much. She loved every minute of it! We had so much snow, that it didn't hurt at all when you fell off, you just sunk six inches into the powder!

Thanks so much for the fun afternoon Shay!

Kamber is 4!!

Kamber's birthday was on January 5. She found some barbie candies that she wanted put on her cake with purple frosting. She sure is easy to please. She thought it was great that she got to decorate her own cake. It made it easy for me too!

Happy birthday to you! Blow out your candles!

Kamber is very excited to be four. She now gets to be in Sunbeams. After a whole year of being 3 in nursery, she can't wait. She would have got to go on Sunday, but she got strep throat. She was very bummed, but excited to go this week.

Happy New Years!

We went to Dan's sister Cammie's house for New Years. We all had a great time. The kids played hide and go seek. The favorite place to hide was in the dryer! This is Kamber and her cousin Tiffany.

The boys had a great time playing the xbox. I think they would have played all night if we would have let them. It was great for us, because it kept them quiet and entertained while the adults played games. This is Boe and Cammie's son Kyle and her step-son Tyson. These three get along great!

We celebrated the New Year with the kids at 10:00. Then we put them to bed and the adults played games and chatted. Some of us weren't quite sure if we were going to make it to midnight. But we all did! This is Dan and our brother-in-law Brandan.

Merry Christmas!

We all had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with Dan's family and then had the whole day on Christmas with just us. We had a great time, we even went to a movie which was a real treat for all of us.

Boe gave Kamber a princess cd player that you can sing along with. She thought it was great. He always knows what she likes best.

The only thing Kamber asked Santa for was a princess dress. He gave her a whole trunk full. She couldn't have been happier.

Grandma Clayson also gave Kamber a new dress. What a great Christmas for a 3-year old princess!

Santa gave Boe a new Ninja Turtle game for his PS2. We had to drag him away from it get dressed and to go to the movie. The second he got back, he was back at it. I guess it's ok to play it on Christmas as much as you want, but after that, there will definately have to be time limits.

Kamber gave Boe a bb gun for Christmas. When he wanted to go shoot it, I told him "You're going to shoot your eye out!" Actually he is very responsible with it and we have strict rules that he has to follow in order to shoot it. He had a great Christmas!

We definatly had a white Christmas. It snowed 12 inches on Christmas Eve and kept snowing all day on Christmas. It is so much fun to have so much snow! I hope all of you had a good a Christmas as we did!
